U of A Community and School Garden Program

The UA Community and School Garden Program (CSGP) develops and sustains gardens as an experiential learning tool so that the gardens become extensions of the classroom. The gardens capture the natural interest of students by engaging them in activities involving engineering, water management, conservation, math, and ecology as well as English, history and art.

The Brown Foundations grant to CSGP aims to increase the reach of the CSGP model by establishing a CSGP community liaison. This grant will lead to additional schools exposing their students to the learning opportunities of this program.
