Maps and Graphs and Forecasts, Oh My!

TRBF is pleased to host a free one-day workshop developed by the data and education specialists at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Attendees will learn how to bring lessons to life and sharpen students’ quantitative analysis skills using hands-on activities and real-time economic data. The program will feature activities connected to FRED, GeoFred, and FREDcast.

Attendees will need to bring a laptop to fully engage in the online resources that will be the centerpiece of this workshop. In addition to providing breakfast and lunch, TRBF will award participants a certificate for 6 hours of professional development. Mileage stipend available for teachers traveling 35+ miles one-way to the program.

The content and pace of this program is designed for middle and high school teachers of social studies, math, and CTE courses. This program is also appropriate for any instructor who wants to use real-time data in the classroom.
