Scholarship Support

The Foundations believe that the UArizona is one of the most important assets of our community. By supporting the best students, as well as the best faculty and great programs, we are investing in the future of our community and supporting the leaders of the future. Below are some of the scholarship programs we support.

College of Engineering, University of Arizona

The Thomas R. Brown Distinguished Scholarships in Engineering are given with preference to National Merit finalists and semifinalists and to those with an expressed interest in technology and business. These scholarships, which reflect Tom Brown's own education, honor him and perpetuate his legacy.

 

 


Eller College of Management, University of Arizona

The Thomas R. Brown Distinguished Scholarships in the Eller College of Management are awarded to undergraduate Entrepreneurship and MBA students. Preference is given to those studying in a STEM field and simultaneously pursuing Entrepreneurship and to MBA students with a focus on advanced business technology.

The Gerald J. Swanson Endowed Scholarship for Undergraduate Excellence in Economics is awarded to undergraduate economics students.

Arizona Assurance Program, University of Arizona

The Arizona Assurance Scholarship Program provides four year, need-based scholarships to qualifying students. The Foundations' support for this program reflects our belief in the importance of access to higher education and its central role in economic and community development.

 


College of Science, University of Arizona

The Thomas R. Brown Distinguished Doctoral Fellowships in Integrative Science Endowment, established in 2023, supports doctoral students in the College of Science pursuing integrative science studies in climate change. This endowment will assist the College of Science to recruit top graduate students.
