University of Arizona
The Thomas R. Brown Foundations have had a longstanding partnership with the University of Arizona. UArizona graduates were key in the success of Burr-Brown. Strengthening university programs and faculty in engineering, management, economics education and science is a way to give back to a community partner that made much of Burr-Brown's success possible. The University drives tremendous economic development for the state and southern Arizona and is an excellent place to invest.
We have several endowments at the University of Arizona for research, education, and innovation. We also celebrate the instructional talents of educators working with undergraduate students through the Gerald J. Swanson Prize for Teaching Excellence.

Pima Community College
The Brown Foundations have supported PCC since the inception of our grant-making. As a foundation aiming to create opportunities for upward economic mobility for Tucsonans through education, we believe maintaining a strong community college is crucial for our regional prosperity.
